Director:

Carrie Holman graduated from Thomas Dale High School in Chesterfield County in 2008. During her time at TDHS, Carrie was a starter and captain for her field hockey team which won the region and went to the state tournament twice.  Carrie also played club soccer for 14 years and believes that many athletes can benefit from playing multiple sports.  After high school, Carrie went on to study at UVa.  While at UVa, she played on the competitive club field hockey team, winning a National Field Hockey League Championship in 2009 and 2nd place in 2011. After receiving her Masters in Teaching and BA in Spanish, Carrie started teaching Spanish at Madison from 2013-2023. She had several successful seasons as the JV coach for 5 years and took over the varsity team in 2019, leading them to their first district title in 15 years during the 2019 season. Since then, they have won 3 Concorde District titles in a row, and in the spring 2021 season won their first ever region and state titles.
